Job summary

This role requires strong communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure an optimal care experience for patients and families. Shriners Portland is looking for a PRN, Medical Assistant to join the team!**Key Responsibilities:** * Performs all aspects of direct patient care according to current Outpatient Clinic \"Standards of Care.\" Documents interventions per policy and lists plan consistently* Obtains patient history and vital signs* Prepares and maintains exam and treatment areas* Obtains and graphs patient's weight, height, arm span, and head circumference according to Outpatient Clinic \"Growth Chart Graphing (Plotting)\"* Lab work completed the same day ordered* Assists with monitoring supplies and equipment with PCA/cast tech.
