This role requires strong communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and coll95aboratively to ensure an optimal care experience for patients and families. In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts. **Hours:** This full-time position will work7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. **Key Responsibilities:*** The Medical Assistant assists in rooming patients, taking vital signs, measurements, preparation of exam rooms, stocking supplies, assisting the physician, interacting with other departments and documentation in the electronic medical record.* The Medical Assistant works with and under the direction of the RN.* Assists providers, nursing and other health care professionals with procedures and the intake and depart processes.
