The Medical Assistant functions under the direction, guidance, and supervision of an RN/LVN and/or a licensed Physician. They assist in planning, providing, and evaluating patient care, as well as coordinating activities with other healthcare providers.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program; certification preferred. Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred. CPR/AED certification is required. Applicants with current BLS certification may be hired but must obtain AHA CPR/AED certification within thirty days of employment.

The hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $25.50.
