Base pay range: $53.01/hr - $76.86/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership, support, mentorship, and serve as an educator and role model.
• Create an educational environment fostering innovation, responsiveness, and accountability.
• Contribute to the improvement and upgrading of class materials and syllabi.
• Use diverse teaching methodologies to facilitate student learning outcomes.
• Show enthusiasm for teaching and support individual student growth.
• Assist with curriculum assessment, critique, evaluation, and revisions to ensure quality.

Required Experience

• 0-4 years of teaching experience at a University or College, or previous rank of assistant professor.
• Experience teaching Physician Assistant courses; research interest in evidence-based clinical research preferred.
• Experience with online learning management systems desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical practice experience.

Educational Requirements

• Background in educational methodology, education theory, clinical practice, or distance education techniques.
• Master’s degree required; doctorate preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• NCCPA certified Physician Assistant or Board certified (or eligible) allopathic or osteopathic physician.
• PA license or MD/DO license (or eligible).
