Job summary

Optima Medical Ltd in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced, patient-centered practice across 30 locations.

You will record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures such as EKG and PFT, administer injections and blood draws, and help with scheduling and charting to keep providers on track.

A strong EMR background (eClinicalWorks preferred) and excellent written and verbal communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical Medical Assistant experience.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient vital signs and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Perform procedures such as EKG and PFT.
• Administer injections and draw blood.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.

Medical Assistant Job Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of clinical work experience as a Medical Assistant
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• High level of professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
