Job summary

Optima Medical, an Arizona-based medical group, seeks a Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures such as EKG, PFT, ear lavage, injections, and blood draws, while maintaining accurate charting and scheduling support.

Requirements include a MA diploma or CMA, at least 1 year of MA experience, and EMR proficiency (eClinicalWorks preferred).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinical Medical Assistant experience.
• At least 1 year of EMR experience; eClinicalWorks preferred.
• Professionalism and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and changes in medical history.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms prior to/following patient appointments.
• Able to perform various medical procedures such as EKG, PFT, Ear Lavage etc.
• Administer injections and take blood draws.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow up, and provider charting as needed.

Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities
