Job summary

HVMG Associates Internal Medicine Beaver is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support our providers and clinical team in delivering compassionate patient care. This full-time role offers a hiring bonus up to $1,000.

Office Location: Associates Internal Medicine Beaver is looking for a skilled Medical Assistant who can work with our providers and clinical team to provide compassionate care to our patients. Come join us! (1211 Third Street Beaver, PA).

Certification strongly preferred.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday daylight varies between 7-5pm, no weekends, no major holidays.

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

Required

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• CPR Certification.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Computer experience.

Preferred

• Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year medical assisting experience.
• Proficient in venipuncture.
