Job summary

AHN Baden is hiring full-time Medical Assistants for Baden Area Healthcare, 210 Ohio River Blvd, Baden, PA 15005. Work hours are daylight, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or major holidays.

Typical duties include taking vital signs and patient history, collecting specimens, performing basic lab tests, administering injections and medications as directed, and handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, and medical records updates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR Certification.
• Successful completion of HR-106 clearances within 90 days of starting employment.
• Computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects vital signs and patient history.
• Collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests.
• Administers injections and medications as directed by provider.
• Performs other clinical tasks as directed by supervisor.

Office Location: Baden Area Healthcare 210 Ohio River Blvd Baden, PA 15005
Work Hours: daylight hours Monday - Friday, no weekends, no major holidays

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

Required

High School graduate or equivalent. CPR Certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Computer experience.

Preferred

Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Minimum of one year medical assisting experience. Proficient in venipuncture.
