Job summary

Community Care Physicians’ Family Practice Great Oaks is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team in New York. The role involves documenting conversations, maintaining patient flow, preparing patients, collecting specimens, and performing basic procedures under the provider's direction.

Responsibilities

• Document verbal conversations and information into patient records accurately and timely.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patients for visit based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders into the lab system accurately and promptly.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed (e.g., EKG, PFT).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Our Family Practice Great Oaks officeis looking for a full-timeMedical Assistant to join their team! The hours are: Monday-Friday7:30am-4:00pm OR 8:30am-5:00pm; rotating Saturday shift8:00am-1:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
