Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting with the placement of a Medical Assistant in Whiteland, Indiana. This is an in-person, on-site role working Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, on a three-month contract with potential extension or full-time offer.

The position requires a High school diploma or GED, MA registration/certification, and preferably prior family practice experience; EPIC experience is a plus. Compensation ranges from $22.30 to $24.30 per hour.

Mansioni

• Organizes the clinical environment and provides support in patient care situations to assist physicians, APCs and nurses.
• Perform patient-oriented procedures and medication administration under MA scope of practice.
• Operates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests); changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication.
• Performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture.
• Performs EKGs.
• Performs quality control checks on equipment.
• Rooms patients according to policy and procedures.
• Preparing patient for examination.
• Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies.
• Respects patient confidentiality always and treats patients with courtesy and respect.
• Organizes exam and treatment rooms, stocks and cleans rooms.
• Practices standard infection control precautions.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Pay Details: $22.30 to $24.30 per hour
