Description
Hennepin County Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) is seeking a Medical Assistants (MA) to work in shelter-based clinics, who has an interest in and experience working with a diverse population in a clinic setting. This position will provide clinical support services to clients who are experiencing homelessness and will be cross trained to help staff other clinics in Public Health Clinical Services. The MA position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides primary care, care coordination, and acute care services to a wide variety of clients.

Location and hours :
This position is on-site at the Health Care for the Homeless clinics and requires travel between clinic locations throughout Hennepin County. Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This position will also require working one evening shift per week. No overnight or holiday shifts are required. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire.
