Dayton Gastroenterology, Inc. is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for our Miamisburg clinic at 415 Byers Rd #100. The role supports physicians, takes vital signs, and handles scheduling, prescriptions, and referrals. A current BLS certification and prior MA experience are required.

We offer a time-balanced, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with excellent benefits and growth opportunities within One GI. High school diploma or equivalent is essential.

Responsibilities

• Measure vital signs and document in patient chart.
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis as applicable.

• Manage patient prescriptions and referrals as directed by physician.
• Answer patient questions and schedule appointments.

Refer a friend who’d be a great fit for One GI and earn a special bonus when they join the team!**Snapshot of Daily Duties*** Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and documents all information in patient’s chart.* Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, as applicable.* Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients.* Assist the physician with office visits. Must be able to assist physician in an emergency.* Manage patient prescriptions as directed by physician.* Manage referrals as directed by physician.* Answer patient questions.
