Requirements
What you will do
  • Support the needs and preferences of Providers and patients by managing patient flow and acting as a liaison.
  • Monitor clinical messages and communicate information effectively to Providers and patients.
  • Prepare exam, procedure, and recovery rooms before and after patients.
  • Record patients' vitals and note any changes or concerns.
  • Complete documentation for patient charts, including diagnostic studies, medications, allergies, and Provider orders.
  • Provide discharge and follow-up instructions, educational brochures, and dietary guidance to patients.
What we require
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred OR at least two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
  • Ability to take vital signs.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
  • Excellent patient care skills and awareness of legal implications.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn new software for electronic records and scheduling systems.
