Job summary

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for its Urology Latham office. The role supports the provider with examinations, procedures, specimen collection, and patient preparation. The position offers a standard weekday schedule, with potential overtime as applicable.

Qualifications include a HS diploma (Medical Assistant certification preferred) and prior medical/clinical experience; phlebotomy experience is a plus. Experience with Allscripts is advantageous.

Our Urology Latham office is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm, or 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
