Community Care Physicians is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care Latham office. The position supports a 30-hour week with evening and rotating Sunday shifts to cover patient care efficiently.

Responsibilities include documenting patient information, maintaining flow, preparing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures under provider direction.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus.

Our Urgent Care Lathamoffice is looking for a Full-TimeMedical Assistant to join their team!

This is a 30 hour week. The hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 4:30pm -12:00am and every other Sunday 10:00am-8:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, members, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
