Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for its Family Practice Great Oaks office. The role includes patient prep, specimen collection, and assisting providers with exams and procedures. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm with rotating Saturday 8:00am-1:00pm.

Certification and phlebotomy experience preferred; Allscripts experience a plus. The position offers a compensations range of $17.00-$22.00 per hour with potential overtime and comprehensive benefits

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on role.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with medical chart reporting/records and Allscripts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Description

Our Family Practice Great Oaks office is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join their team! The hours are: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm OR 8:30am-5:00pm; rotating Saturday shift 8:00am-1:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Document verbal conversations and information into the patient records in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.).
• Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous medical/clinical experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, members, physicians/providers, managers, co-workers, and external customers.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Experience with Allscripts is a plus!
