Full-time position available with the Health Department, Communicable Disease Prevention Division located at 2400 Troost Ave.
Starting Salary: $17.35/hourly.
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. *Hours may change according to clinic schedule.

REQUIRES: high school graduation and 1 year of experience in a clinical health setting performing medical assistant duties; OR completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Must pass a preemployment drug screen.

Positions requiring a high school diploma/GED must be obtained from an accredited school/program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The minimum education requirement for positions allowing experience equivalency is a high school diploma. For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher requiring an accredited degree, professional experience must be obtained after the degree.
A successful pre-employment criminal history/background check is required. Some positions may require additional screening such as a drug test or physical.
Non-residents appointed to the position must obtain residency within Kansas City, Missouri's limits within nine months.
