Job summary

ExperCARE in Jasper, AL is seeking experienced Medical Assistants who want to make a meaningful difference in a fast-paced, growth-oriented clinic.

As a Medical Assistant, you will perform triage, vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture, injections, and support providers with procedures while delivering compassionate care to our community.

We value exceptional customer service, teamwork, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Flexible availability — including days, evenings, and weekends
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure)
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.)
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment
