Job summary

ExperCARE Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in Hartselle, AL is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a full-time role. You will perform triage, vital signs, venipuncture, EKGs, injections, and assist clinicians with procedures in a fast-paced, growth-oriented clinic.

We value exceptional patient service, strong communication, and flexibility to cover days, evenings, and weekends. Prior clinical experience is preferred and a background check is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability — including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure).
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.)
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment
