Job summary

ExperCARE in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-centered clinic. You will perform triage, take vital signs, collect patient histories, and assist providers with procedures to keep the workflow smooth.

You will conduct EKGs and rapid lab tests, perform venipuncture and injections, manage patient call-backs and education, and support occupational medicine services.

Qualifications

• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure).
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history

• Set up and assist with sterile procedures
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies
