Job summary

ExperCARE in Hartselle, AL is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinic team. You will perform triage, vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture, injections, and assist providers, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy community setting.

The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service, strong communication, flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends, and a current CMA/CCMA or eligible licensure. Experience is preferred and growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability — including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure).
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire.
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education.
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.).
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment.
