Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Honolulu seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for a dermatology practice. Schedule Monday - Thursday, 8:30AM - 3:30PM; Fridays 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour.

Candidates must be in-state to apply and be considered. You will assist physicians with procedures, input prescriptions on EMR, take vital signs, interview patients, prep for procedures, sterilize instruments, educate patients on skincare, and help create customized treatment plans while promoting

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required
• At least 1-year medical experience preferred; Dermatology and/or Pediatric experience preferred
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with procedures, scribing and patient intake
• Accurately input physician prescriptions on EMR
• Perform vital signs (e.g.blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate) as appropriate for patient care
• Interview patients and document basic medical history, allergies, medications, etc.
• Set-up for basic medical procedures and cosmetic procedures
• Sterilize instruments, stock supplies and general maintenance of office
• Educate patients about general skincare and assist with creating customized treatment plans
• Promote sales of aesthetic procedures and skin care products
