Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examination.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Assist physicians and providers with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Perform clinical tasks such as injections, wound care, suture removal, and specimen handling as permitted.
• Assist with biopsies, surgeries, and dermatologic procedures.
• Provide patient education and relay provider instructions.
• Process prescriptions, prior authorizations, and refill requests.
• Support scheduling, charting, and EMR documentation.
