Premise Health Inc. in Florence, KY is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to provide hands-on care at our onsite Health Center, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will interview patients, take vital signs, maintain health records, prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist with injections and basic testing. Ideal candidates have national MA certification and current BLS, with prior MA experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization.
• Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed (online courses not accepted).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
• CMA certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center of Competency Testing, the National Certification Medical Association, American Medical Technologists, or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board of Medical Examiners (South Carolina only).
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.

• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date records.
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments.
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations.
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Medical Assistant, you’ll provide care to client employees at our onsite Health Center in Florence, KY, near Erlanger and just south of Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys providing hands-on patient care in a primary care setting.

The Health Center operates Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, and we’re looking for a flexible PRN Medical Assistant who can provide coverage as needed.

What You'll Do
