Job Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide technical and clinical services, assist with procedures, prepare patients, and deliver family-centered, culturally competent care.
• Customer Service: Advocate for patients and families, respond to needs, and provide education and support.
• Collaboration: Work cooperatively with team members, share knowledge, and foster a positive work environment.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records, obtain consents, and adhere to documentation standards.
• Laboratory Work: Manage specimens, understand testing processes, and communicate results appropriately.

The Medical Assistant performs delegated clinical and administrative duties under supervision, with the required training and competency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program and no related experience, or military medical training, or 1 year of related work experience

Location: Fairfield Outpatient

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

Department: Fairfield Primary Care (FPC)

Employee Status: Regular, FTE 0.8, 32 hours/week

Pay Range: $17.86 - $21.49 per hour, starting pay varies based on FTE
