Medical Assistant
PSV has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals! This specific role will be supporting PSV’s Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Outpatient Clinic in our Fairfax, VA location. This position is working full-time Monday - Friday. Clinical hours range between 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine pediatric surgeons work closely with a comprehensive medical team specialized in the treatment of infants, children, and teens with muscle, skeletal, and bone conditions and injuries.
The Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for providing patient care, clerical and environmental control services in the physician outpatient practice according to established policies and procedures. The MA will utilize information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes. The MA will communicate/collaborate with physicians and staff to provide coordinated, safe and compassionate care for patients. He/she will also participate in continuing education activities that enhance employee's professional abilities and ensure up-to-date patient care.
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 -$24.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 Hours
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and talk or hear; and type on a keyboard. He/she may be required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and climb or balance. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
