US Oncology Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant in Crystal Lake, IL. This full-time role supports physicians and clinicians with patient care, exams, and procedures, while handling clerical tasks and maintaining schedules.

The ideal candidate has a CNA, 2 years MA experience, and CPR/BLS certification, with oncology experience preferred. The position offers an hourly rate of $19.00-$21.00 and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), HSA, PTO, and wellness perks.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas
• Provide collaborative nursing support
• Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested
• Administer injections as appropriate
• Take vitals and document findings
• Answer patient calls regarding referrals to physician or nurse/pharmacist
• Enter prescriptions and communicate with patients per physician instructions
• Perform general clerical tasks and maintain physician schedules
• Support compliance with US Oncology policies and standards

Medical Assistant

Full-Time Monday-Friday

Hourly Rate: $19.00-$21.00

Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care, i.e. exams, and procedures. Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician’s schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment room as appropriate.
• Provide collaborative nursing support.
• Maintain efficient patient flow.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Administer appropriate injections.
• Take vitals.
• Answers patient telephone calls for referral to physician or nurse/pharmacist.
• Phones in prescriptions and makes other patient calls as directed by physicians and RN.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• CPR Certification required same as BLS
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy skills highly desired
• Oncology experience preferred
