Essential Duties:

• Room patients and obtain vitals, patient history, and reason for seeking care
• Maintain patient records' confidentiality
• Prepare lab and radiology reports, and acquire lab and x-ray reports
• Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations per protocols
• Maintain work area, exam rooms, and supplies
• Perform basic triage following specific office protocol procedures

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Experience: Two Years
• Certified Medical Assistant in Ohio preferred
• BLS Certification

Other Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Knowledge of computerized information systems
• Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures
• Knowledge of medical terminology
