Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Clive, IA is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurses and the clinical team in daily patient care. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered service and ensuring a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of Medical Assistant experience, is comfortable with weekends and holiday shifts, and possesses basic MS Office and EMR skills to document procedures and coordinate care.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection and processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Manage lab reports and enter results to provider team for review
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance before, during and after procedures

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Clinical Assistant to join our growing team at Everleap Fertility for our growing office in Clive, Iowa! In this role, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support daily patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred

  • Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:
