Job summary

Everleap Fertility is seeking a Clinical Assistant for our Englewood, NJ clinic. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 5:30am–1:30pm with rotating Sundays, supporting physicians and the clinical team in patient care.

The role involves assisting with procedures, documenting measurements, maintaining rooms, and ensuring a high-quality patient experience. Weekend, holiday, and occasional evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant.
• Phlebotomy program completed may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with clinical procedures.
• Document ultrasound measurements and provider comments.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Specimen collection and processing for in-house and outside labs.
• Provide patient information and comfort before, during, and after procedures.

Clinical Assistant

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Full-Time Englewood, NJ, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has a need for a Clinical Assistant in our Englewood clinic. This is a Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating Sundays.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands‑on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high‑quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in‑house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare - preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel - required
• EMR experience - preferred
