Comprehensive Woman's Care - Medical Assistant Position

Comprehensive Woman's Care, a practice partner of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join their growing medical team. The Medical Assistant is committed to providing an exceptional patient experience, ensuring each encounter is professional, warm, and caring while meeting individual patient needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to travel to our Detroit, Clinton Township, and Chesterfield practices.

1. Obtain patient's health history and accurately enter data into Electronic Medical Record
2. Maintain attention to detail
3. Prepare exam rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness
4. Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals
5. Set up diagnostic and treatment equipment as needed
6. Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as required
7. Complete documentation related to patient's medical records, test requests, medications, and patient education accurately and promptly
8. May perform scribe duties
9. Assist physicians as directed
10. Work effectively in a team environment
11. Require experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program
12. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred
13. At least 1 year of experience in a medical office
14. Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology required
15. Previous experience in an OBGYN office preferred
