MA transitioning to per diem to pursue her education in nursing
This role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred, Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred, Emergency Medical Technician - Basic [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services preferred.
Experience: Direct MA experience or medical field work 0-1 year preferred.
