Job summary

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled professionals to join our Portland location as a Certified Medical Assistant. The role involves rooming patients, assisting dermatology providers in procedures, and delivering patient education in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Travel to Vancouver may be required; mileage is reimbursed. The schedule is varied (Tuesday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm) with comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, life insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or CMA/Registered MA or Certified Derm Tech.
• HS Diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related healthcare experience preferred.
• Certification through WA State Dept of Health strongly preferred, exceptions may apply for Registered MA.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms for procedures.
• Assist providers during dermatology procedures and patient visits.
• Provide patient education and daily patient tasks.
• Maintain fast-paced clinic operations with strong organization and patient service.

• Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
• Location: Portland primary location, travel required once a week to Portland and possible travel to Vancouver (mileage reimbursed)
• Typical Schedule: Varied Tuesdays - Fridays, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
