Frontier Dermatology invites skilled professionals to join our team as Certified Medical Assistants in Portland, OR. This in-clinic role includes rooming patients, supporting dermatology procedures, and patient education in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or a Certified/Registered MA.
• WA Dept of Health certification preferred; exceptions may be made for Registered MA depending on experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with duties including rooming patients, assisting providers, patient education, and daily tasks.
• Strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Position Details:

• Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
• Location: Portland primary location, travel required once a week to Portland and possible travel to Vancouver (mileage reimbursed)
• Typical Schedule: Varied Tuesdays - Fridays, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
• Certification through the WA State Dept of Health strongly preferred, some exceptions may be made for Registered MA's depending on experience
• HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
• Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks
