Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians during procedures and manage patient interactions across OH clinics. You will document vital signs, histories, and care notes in the EMR/EHR, and perform routine clinical tasks within your training and certification scope.

This full-time role offers 32 hours per week (4 days, Tuesday–Friday) at clinics in Canfield, Canton, Fairlawn, Middleburg Heights, and nearby OH locations, with a $20–$24 hourly wage and comprehensive

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and specimen collection as trained.
• Accurately document patient interactions in the EMR/EHR systems.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details

• Location: Canfield, Canton, Fairlawn, Middleburg, OH clinics


• Schedule: Full-Time, 4 days per week, 32 hours (Tuesday-Friday)


• Compensation: $20-$24hr based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience


• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)


• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification


• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems


• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment


• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems


• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments


• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required


• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required


• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required


• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred


• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required
