Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Illinois clinics. You will greet patients, document histories and vitals, assist with procedures, and ensure a welcoming environment for all patients.

duties include phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection, and accurate EMR data entry. A CMA/RMA/CCMA certification is preferred and bilingual skills are a plus in our fast-paced team.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of MA training program.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and assist patients on arrival with a welcoming experience.
  • Document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR.
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and specimen collection within scope of training.
  • Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
  • Provide exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinic setting.
  • Support care across physician offices, clinics and urgent care environments.

Position Summary:

As aMedical Assistant,you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details:
  • Location: This position floats between our Skokie, Elmwood Park, and Belmont clinic locations.
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
  • Compensation: $20-$24hr based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centres, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
  • 1-2 years of hands‑on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
  • Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient‑facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
