Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our nationwide outpatient clinics. You will assist physicians, manage patient interactions, and maintain a welcoming environment across Canfield, Canton, and OH locations.

The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on MA experience, completion of MA training, and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred. Expect a fast-paced team with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar role.
  • Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
  • Completion of MA training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival for a welcoming experience.
  • Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories in EMR/EHR.
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
  • Document interactions in EMR/EHR systems with accuracy.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service in a high-volume clinical setting.
  • Use EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar.
  • Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health.
  • Leverage bilingual abilities to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details:
  • Location: Canfield, Canton, Fairlawn, Middleburg, OH clinics
  • Schedule: Full-Time, 4 days per week, 32 hours (Tuesday-Friday)
  • Compensation: $20-$24hr based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
  • Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
