ADP, Inc. is seeking an AR Specialist to join our healthcare team in Frederick, MD. This full-time role focuses on managing insurance claims, posting payments, and resolving billing discrepancies to support accurate accounts receivable processes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of medical AR or healthcare billing experience, knowledge of CPT/ICD codes, and is proficient with EMR and billing systems. Excellent communication and HIPAA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 2+ years of medical accounts receivable or healthcare billing experience.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD codes and insurance processes.
• Experience with EMR and billing systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure prompt payment
• Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims
• Post payments and adjustments accurately in billing systems
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and discrepancies
• Work with billing, coding, and clinical staff to resolve account issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient account records
• Generate AR reports and track outstanding balances
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
