Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist I in Columbia, MD to process revenue for billing, generate invoices, and follow up on unpaid accounts. You will support office partners and clients with billing and AR concerns, review deposits, code payments, and ensure timely payments.

The role requires strong data entry, Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. A high school diploma is required, with an undergraduate degree preferred; on-site work in

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivables and/or collections preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Web-enabled applications.
• Must be a self-starter, with ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Strong alpha/numeric data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Process revenue for billing and generate invoices.
• Post revenue and billing sales; ensure payment.
• Review deposits, code payments, and process credit card payments.
• Follow up on unpaid invoices and delinquent accounts.
• Provide customer service to office partners and clients regarding billing and accounts receivable.
