Job summary

Flagship Specialty Partners seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Charlotte, NC practice. This clerical, full-time role focuses on processing insurance claims, coordinating with providers, patients, and insurance companies to optimize payments.

You will document activities in the practice management system, track denials, and assist with appeals while upholding HIPAA standards and contributing to a collaborative Revenue Cycle team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years medical/dental office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and resolve insurance claims for services provided to patients.
• Document resolution activities in the practice management system.
• Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and providers.
• Assist with tracking payments and denials and draft appeals as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security policies in daily work.
