Responsibilities

• Answers calls, screens messages and provides patient information.
• Greets, registers and assists patients in a courteous manner.
• Oversees waiting area and coordinates patient movement.
• Instructs patients about appointments and testing; coordinates pre-op testing.
• Schedules appointments, procedures or surgeries and verifies details.
• Verifies information in EMR and ensures authorizations are obtained as needed.
• Collects fees such as co-pays and reviews instructions with patients.
