Job summary

University Physicians’ Association is seeking Medical Accounts Receivable Representatives for multiple positions in Knoxville, TN. Remote options exist, with on-site training required for 90 days and possible intermittent office time.

Full-Time roles with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k with company match, and paid training are available. Prior medical billing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Good computer, written, & verbal communication skills are required or a plus.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes is not required but preferred.
• Previous medical billing experience is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of insurance guidelines and requirements to resolve denials or partially paid claims.
• Correspond with client to resolve inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify payer trends and notify manager of negative trends.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Follow established processes and procedures.

is looking for dedicated team members to fill multiple positions for Medical Accounts Receivable Representatives. These medical billing positions offer growth opportunities where you can develop a career with an established leader in the healthcare business industry.

Remote work options are available for this position; however, candidate must be able to commute to Knoxville, TN for a required on-site training period for a minimum of 90 days. Some positions may also require intermittent time in the office, as needs arise.

Full-Time, Monday through Friday work week with flexible scheduling available.

Job Duties Include, But Not Limited To
