Job summary

Humana is seeking a Medicaid Population Health Management Lead – Wellness and Prevention to drive strategy and scalable solutions for vulnerable populations. You will partner across teams to identify opportunities, shape a portfolio, and translate insights into actionable product plans.

You will lead cross-functional workstreams from discovery to launch, using patient insights, research, and analytics to inform decisions and outcomes across Medicaid priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in health insurance, healthcare strategy, product or solution development, population health, wellness, or healthcare advisory services.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience focused on Medicaid populations.
• Working knowledge of Medicaid managed care programs, policy, covered services, and the needs of vulnerable populations.
• Experience developing healthcare products, programs, services, or member-facing solutions.
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience identifying trends and developing actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies that improve health outcomes for Medicaid members through prevention and engagement.
• Translate population health opportunities into clear recommendations and scalable product concepts.
• Lead products from discovery through launch and ongoing evolution.
• Collaborate with analytics to evaluate performance and guide investment decisions.
• Apply agile, human-centered design and journey mapping to set plans and milestones.
