Job summary

Alamance County Government is seeking an Income Maintenance Caseworker III – Adult Medicaid Trainer/QA to lead training, ensure policy accuracy, and improve process quality. You will coach staff, analyze case data, and support audits while remaining current on Medicaid policies.

The role includes providing hands‑on coaching, collaborating with NC FAST as a technical resource, and ensuring high standards of service delivery to the community.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four‑year college/university or an accredited associate degree in related fields.
• High school with three years paraprofessional/public contact experience including data gathering/analysis.
• Two years of additional Income Maintenance Caseworker experience.
• Valid NC driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing training and technical assistance to income maintenance staff and interpret policy changes.
• Review Medicaid cases for compliance, analyze data, and maintain accurate records in agency systems.
• Stay current on Medicaid policies and communicate changes to staff.
• Mentor staff through coaching and review colleagues’ case assessments for quality.
• Assist in audit preparation and support corrective action plans.
