Job summary

County of Davidson seeks an IMC III (Lead Worker) to train Income Maintenance staff and lead 2nd party reviews. You will supervise and mentor new caseworkers, ensuring timely and accurate benefits across Medicaid, Food & Nutrition Services, and related programs.

The role requires strong training skills and policy interpretation under County supervision. Responsibilities include reviewing cases for compliance, assisting with complex cases, and providing ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in human services or equivalent, or substantial related experience.
• Experience as Income Maintenance worker preferred; strong policy knowledge a must.
• Ability to train staff and conduct reviews with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2nd party reviews for all Income Maintenance programs.
• Assist supervisor in determining training needs from review findings.
• Provide error-free and timely client assistance per policies.
• Train new staff and prepare training materials and presentations.
• Monitor performance and organize caseloads to meet goals.
