Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Medicaid Specialist to join our contact center. You will support low-income patients in redetermination and eligibility, handling calls, referrals, and in-person events when needed.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, a high school diploma, and fluency in relevant languages. Prior Medicaid experience is a plus, with a strong emphasis on patient advocacy and cross-team coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred; 2–5 years experience.
• Sales background preferred, but not required.
• Prior Medicaid experience preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with relevant patient population.
• Community health experience preferred.
• Proficient PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Place outgoing and receive incoming calls or referrals to assist patients in the Medicaid redetermination process and eligibility.
• Attend Medicaid redetermination events in person to support applications and renewals.
• Learn Medicaid ins and outs and assist patients with navigating low-income resources.
• Serve as internal resource for teams on Medicaid questions.
• Advocate for patients regarding resources they are entitled to.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure patient needs are met; provide exceptional customer service.
