Itlearn360 in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Hybrid Billing Specialist to qualify, prepare and submit claims to Medicare Part B, Major Medical and Medicaid. The role requires coordinating with LTC facility staff, prescribers, payers and patients to ensure accurate billing.

You will work across several systems to retrieve documents and follow claims through to resolution. Prior authorization, compliance and timely processing are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience performing healthcare reimbursement or medical billing.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with healthcare reimbursement systems.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and manage competing demands.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Customer service skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Job Title: Hybrid Billing Specialist

Pay: $19.50 an hr | Bi-weekly

Job Type: Hybrid in Monroeville, PA 15146

Must live within 1 hour of Monroeville site, Required to come in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays (every other week) for a total of 4x a month, but Willing to come onsite for business needs if that changes.

Shift Options

• Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30; hybrid and needs flexibility

Hybrid Billing Specialist Overview

• Billing Specialist I will be responsible for qualifying, preparing and submitting claims to Medicare Part B, Major Medical and Medicaid.
• Individual must work with LTC facility staff, Omnicare pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third party payers, patients and/or their responsible parties and claim processors.
• This position requires work within several different operating systems and web based programs to retrieve document images, collect supporting or additional information on fills and work claims through to resolution to ensure compliant, timely and accurate billing practices.

Hybrid Billing Specialist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience performing healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing or related work.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with healthcare reimbursement systems.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Customer service skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Entry level position; 0-2 years of pharmacy billing experience Strong communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Good computer skills requiring basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and good typing skills.
