Job summary

EmblemHealth is seeking a field-based Enrollment Specialist to present, enroll, and maintain patient enrollments for Medicaid and related plans across the New York area.

The role requires home visits, documentation gathering, and cultivation of community relationships. Candidates should be able to travel and work evenings or weekends as necessary, with Salesforce managing all activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and generate leads.
• Willingness to travel within the NY metro area and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Present, follow up, and sell Medicaid, Essential Plan, QHP and CHP products on a direct sales basis.
• Conduct home visits and enroll individuals by completing applications and gathering documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of health care products and complete periodic certification.
• Develop community relationships, attend events, and generate leads.
• Refer existing members for recertification and perform recertification activities as needed.
• Collaborate with EmblemHealth departments and assist members in selecting PCPs.
• Enter all activity into Salesforce and maintain enrollment books.
• Regular attendance is required.
