Job summary

Independence Care Center is seeking an experienced Medicaid Coordinator to join our team. You will manage Medicaid applications, recertifications, eligibility issues, and required documentation while working closely with residents, families, and government agencies.

The role requires prior Medicaid experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility, knowledge of NY Medicaid requirements, and strong organizational and communication skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous Medicaid experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Process Medicaid applications and recertifications.
• Collect and review required documentation.

• Maintain accurate resident Medicaid records.
• Communicate with residents, families, DSS/HRA, and other agencies.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Social Services, and Business Office.
