Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks an Eligibility Specialist II (LTCW) for an in-office role at LTC Outstations in Charleston. You will determine and review Medicaid eligibility, collect documentation from applicants and third parties, and ensure timely determinations with accurate records.

Responsibilities include using Department tools to gather information, resolve discrepancies, document decisions, and maintain privacy in compliance with state and federal law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant program experience in customer services.
• Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

• Collects and evaluates documentation from applicants and third parties.
• Documents notes and steps clearly in the systems for review and hand-off.
